Good luck, hope you have 2 prego mares. shot has had 6 in a row, never missed a year yet.

when I was younger I would bounce, now I just splat

Welp, I have 2 prego mares at my barn! clap2

Vet said Rosie was about 30 days and Shot was about 20 days! Got to see the heart beat on Rosie's embryo, Shots was still too little (he called it something, but it's not an embryo yet).

I figured Rose was in foal, her attitude has been great latley! Both mares loaded in the trailer, and unloaded great! I took them to my friends barn and she had the vet come there.

Congrats to u!!!! I am a lil confused. Did you buy these 2 from Val? Are they pregos from Vals stallion or don't u have one? Thats so cool. Some day when the time is right I want to breed Bop. Perhaps to a Quarter horse or back to an Arab? If I want to regester the foal it would have to be an Arab. However, if I want what would probably be a great barrel play day type horse I would go Quarterhorse. She is athletic as she can be just dingy.

Once again Great news now lets hope for beautiful healthy babies next spring!!

Thanks! I have one mare that is in foal to Vals TB stud, Sun Tzu that I bought from Val. I have another mare that I have had for years that is in foal to a QH stud that is Western Pleasure bred. I do not own a stallion, I am a mare owner! Grin

Wouldn't you be able to reg the foal no matter what you bred her to as a half arab?

No cuz she is half arab half thorobred. All you guys and your breding and what not I get confused HH has a stallion then or is it Ramsey or both..... dontknow

I thought Bop was full Arab! See, hard to keep things straight! smile

HH has a paint stallion. Ramsey used to have a stallion but had him gelded last year. For that matter Scout used to be a stallion also but was gelded last year also, so see you weren't totally wrong! Not sure on the colors, neither mare is bred to a paint. I am just hoping for 2 heathly babies! Grin

May be you'll get lucky and way back somewhere undetected there are some speckled butts in the pedigree. Now that would be a kick in the shorts.......
