 clap2 :clap2:She had it at 1:30 this morning.  Sun Tzu finally had one with no problems.  He is bay, not a white hair on him and has his sires pretty head.  All of the foals that I have lost have had very nice heads.  This is the only Sun Tzu that we ended up with.  There is one more left to come but it doesn't belong to me. 

I have had some hunt seat people looking at him for next year because he is a pretty mover too.

Shot is the only one that I have left to foal and she should be next week, hopefully that will go well.

he is a handsome boy. I am planning on keeping and racing him since he is the only one that I am having this year.  The plan was to keep one anyway.   He is kind of friendly but acts like he is the king.  Coochie is doing good for a maiden mare and after this breeding season I remember why so many breeders hate maiden TB mares.  Somebody hit me with a hammer if I keep buying them.  bash

I thought u wanted to go with tb only?  Would that not mean buying more mares?

I am eventually going to switch over to all TB but maiden means mares that have never foaled before.  They are a pain in the butt.  I am not giving my quarter mares or Ziggy away so I am going to take my time selling them down.  It is so important for me to get them to homes where people will use them in the show pen (I hope).  I really don't want them to go to homes where they are just another horse if I can avoid it at all.

I get the maiden thing I was just givin u a bad time.  Its what I am here for after all.   Hopefully before u get rid of all your  QH I will be able to get one of your barrel racer extrodinars

Well I have high hopes that Ziggy is going to sire some bang up using horses. 

I saw some running bred apps somewhere but can't remember where now.  I was going to tell you about them because I think they are like not too many states away from you.

I emailed the Deckers (the people who bred Buddy).  I want to know what their spring babies are like this year.

I got a question for you guys call me a nut if I am one.  Bop my mare is a pretty good atheltic horse.  1/2 thorobred 1/2 arab.  Buddy's dad is a 1/2 arab Leopard appy.  Buddy is really athletic go getter.  What kind of match do you think Bop and Jester Da Paz Buddy's dad would make?  Bop is a flea bit gray.  If she had a foal with appy traits it would be regesterable as an appy.  Just curious it was something I been thinking about as a future barrel prospect.  OR maybe I should try out a QH?  as a prospect for the future.

I know that the Apps have a lot of arab in them.  I think I would try to find a racing bred or using bred app with not so much arab in them.  Your mare is going to pass a lot of her traits on so that is all the hot blood you need between her arab/TB influence.  That is just my opinion tho.  I am sure you could find one out in your neck of the woods.

You are right Buddy has more fire then Bop so I bet his daddy is a pistol.  I am seriously considering a Qh as my next one they are supposed to be a little more level headed.

Gee I guess I could maybe its the Black EYE bop gave me while waiting her turn to be shoed.  jumped and flipped her head for no reason to speak of and smacked me in the face.  Not exactly a black eye more like the left side of my face. dontknow

Or perhaps its this morning when I go to feed and she is limping again.  Danger prone Dafine found something else to get into and cut her leg.  She is a big baby so she was gimping this morning.  Lovely 2 days before she is supposed to run. nailgun
