Hey everybody wav
http://www.tianyschuster.com/Stallion_Auction.htm
I wanted to let everyone know about this auction. As you may or may not know, the areas affected by Katrina had a very big horse population. Many of these horses were barrel horses owned by everyday people like us. Everyone in the gulf coast area has been affected in one way or another. Some had minimal damage. Some lost everything. One of the saddest stories is of one lady who not only was stranded and trapped on the rooftop of her home and had to be rescued by helicopter, but she also lost all of her 14 horses when a levee in St. Bernard Parish broke.
She was informed that none of the 18 horses that were stabled at this barn survived. She now, has no home, no job, and will have to deal with the lose of all of her horses. This is just one of many stories coming out of the areas in the gulf.
Tiany Schuster, with the help of Barrel Horse World, has put together this auction and all the proceeds will go to benefit many of the people trying to rebuild their lives after this devastating storm. Take a look at the web site and look at all the stallions that are being offered for this auction. Many of us stallion owners have wondered how we could help out with the relief efforts. This auction will offer to the public some of the most prestigious stallions in the industries to the public in order to help. All the money raised will be put together and then distributed to those hardest hit. Here is your chance to buy breeding to that super stud of your (and your mares) dreams and help out your fellow horse owners in their time of most dyer need. If you are interested in taking part in this auction, look at the web site for details.

Life ain't about how fast you run, or how high you climb, but how well you bounce.

I know that there are a few people that visit this board that breed horses or else they now someone that does.  The stallion auction is not going really all that high except for a few that the owners are bidding back in.  This could be a good deal for a lot of people.  Brad Wagner has a breeding to Dr. Red Rock and it doesn't even have the minimum bid of 100 on it yet.  Nik Dell has 125 on him and the next bid is 130.  Tell people that you know that they should check this out on www.barrelhorses.com website, click on the Katrina relief stallion auction and if you want to see the owners or email them click on the link to Tiana Schusters site otherwise hit place bid and the amounts are what the next asking price is.  There are a lot of good buys and all the money goes to horse help.

when I was younger I would bounce, now I just splat
