Yes, come out for a visit anytime.  I am so glad to hear that the workers comp is on the ball for him.  Pretty bad that one of their own was injured the way he was.  It would be cool if Jeremy could get a scholarship to help him out.  I found out why these junior colleges out here are so full all the time, it is only about half the price of a regular college and those kids take everything they can before they transfer to make it cheaper.  Tell him to check out Coffeyville Community College, they do a lot of football scholarships, and that would at least put him half way there and they have had several pro players that went there.  He could at least get all his basic stuff out of the way before he transferred.  We don't do football at the school I work at but we have basketball players from Georgetown because they need to help get their grades up.

I am glad to hear that the boyfriend has stuck around since hearing about the baby, hope he is going to pay child support and all that.  Kids are so expensive nowdays.   When is she due?

I could have sworn I posted on here, dang computer gremlins! Cathy's due Nov. 1st & is finally looking pregnant. She's taking all her classes at the community college in Elizabethtown & it is so much cheaper than U of L. Luckily hers is all paid for as long as she stays out of trouble.
Her boyfriend got himself raised up a few notches in my opinion over the weekend. He's come over & helped out with George being laid up & drove with me yesterday to pick up some furniture. It was supposed to be just a recliner for George but I ended up buying the sofa & loveseat too. They're in like-new shape & the whole set only cost me $100. But now if people come over we have decent furniture for them to sit on...the old set, one was about to collapse & the other the puppies had chewed to death.

Glad to hear that the boyfriend is trying to help out.  He may be an okay kind of guy you know. 

Maybe so...I may just be being overprotective, I am kinda bad about that. God help us when Jeremy starts dating!

Okay, YAY for Craigslist again...I got George a manual wheelchair for $20! The walker didn't help any more than the crutches, his legs just give out under him. So picked up the chair yesterday, Jeremy & I got him down the porch and he was able to sit outside for a while which perked him up a bit.

Val, you were right, mom needs to cut Cat's Bill a little slack. They've been coming by and helping me out with George & around the house. After feeding him & talking to him more maybe he isn't quite so bad...

Glad to hear that George got to get outside for a bit.  He won't be down for long, he is just to honery to stay down. 

Yes, you cut the boyfriend some slack.  It says something about him if he is willing to help out like that around the house.  How long George will be able to move about or do they really know yet?

Right now we're still waiting for the appointment with a neurologist to find why he's having the issues with his legs/back. Hopefully that'll be sometime this week. I rolled him onto the deck today to eat lunch & turned Summer and Snowman loose in the backyard to eat it down for me. (it's too dry & dusty to mow) He got tickled because Summer decided to see if she could come up the deck steps and share a meal.
I'm trying to teach him how to use the computer so today we surfed DreamHorse & Equine.com together so he could see the internet is not a scary thing & I could eyeball riding horses for sale LOL.

Looking at horses on the net is always fun.  I do it daily.  Don't need anymore at all.  Do you have nothing at all to ride anymore?  Let me know what happens at the neurologist appointment.  I wish I could get over this dang head cold, it is really whipping my butt.  I hate it! 

Well Summer took a huge hunk out of her hoof so she's gimpy, have to wait for it to grow out. And Snowman's getting to the point where he tires pretty easy, he's around 30 according to the vet, so I don't like to use him for much except leading kids around on. I *probably* won't buy til spring but am keeping half an eye out now since prices are so dirt low around here. I did learn my lesson with Cooper (and Summer), I DEFINATELY want something at least 15 hands no more shorties lol! And then I start thinking with all this free time maybe look at getting a young one instead to start myself, the way I want.

Hope the head cold goes away, that's no fun. It's lovely allergy season here. We got a little rain last night though which helped a bit.

Neuro is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon and an appt with a urologist (sp?) on Fri to get his kidneys looked at. With let you know what they say!

Wild, got you added to MS now. Shared the "baby ate my brain" with Cat, she swears it's true. Three more days huh? Have you got hubby trained so he can notify us when the big event occurs? If not I can PM you my cell & home and you can me. I'm kind of a CL junkie now. I found a 2 yo gelding in Louisville- Skipper W line bred & only $500...drooling over him right now on another window, love those Skippers LOL.

So update on George. They found another fracture after reviewing the stuff from University, this one on his sacrum (sp). Basically we now know his groin is broke and that his ass has ANOTHER crack in it...that was my laugh for the day. They've got him set up for another MRI Friday after his appt with the urologist IF we get out of there in time, if not they'll reschedule. Also have him set up on the 15th to go in for a HIDA test & an ultrasound of his gallbladder, they are still thinking something internal from some of his pain. And the fact that EVERY time he eats about an hour later he throws it all up, they said that just screams gallbladder issue. I also got permission to make him walk for 20 minutes, twice a day...told him I'd hook a leadrope to his jeans & handwalk him down the road, he wasn't thrilled but the doctor got a kick out of it.

I'm LOL about you taking George for a walk and about another crack!!  I am glad you are keeping him in line!
