1 Welcome to Runninghorses.net Forums! / Off the Wall / Re: Where is Turnin Burnin Buddy, Shannon and Horse Happy?
Well now I know why I was in such a crappy mood when I posted...stupid pre-menopause. Woke up at 3am w/awful cramps & though "AHA! That's why I was so bitchy today" LOL
Supposedly George's check will be here by Sat. We'll see. I went ahead & set up an appt with the workers comp attorney who was recomended to us & got the paperwork printed up to apply for social security disability for him too.
I dug through the freezer today & decided we're doing a deer roast for Thanksgiving . The weather is supposed to be fairly decent Thursday, Jeremy asked if he could ride for a while before we eat Thanksgiving dinner. He doesn't ask often so I said shoot yeah!
I think a big reason I'm stressed over Cathy is I'm afraid she's going to do something stupid like marry this guy. If she does that she loses the state paying for her to get her nursing degree & all the other benefits. I just see her falling into the same trap I did at that age & it scares the crap out of me. I know, they have to make their own mistakes but I don't want to see her have to go through it.
Off to snarf down some Midol, be back later today I'm sure.
{{{{HUGS}}}} for making me feel better & even bigger {{{{{HUGS}}}}} to the baby!

2 Welcome to Runninghorses.net Forums! / Off the Wall / Re: Where is Turnin Burnin Buddy, Shannon and Horse Happy?
Well WC is having trouble telling us when George's next check will come- they closed the office it did come out of & switched to Wisconsin and everythings ALL messed up. It's been 11 days since we got his last one & just spent the last of it today on his diabetes/BP meds & essentials like milk, bread, etc. So we're skipping Thanksgiving this year, thank you Liberty Mutual!
And since I'm in a royally shitty mood I'm going to vent...I can do it here where I'm "safe". First off Cathy and that POS boyfriend. They came by for like half an hour last weekend. He got pissed because I took the baby out of her car seat & held her for a bit before letting George hold her- sat & gave us nasty looks, then when WeinerDog walked over & sniffed the car seat- sniffed it mind you, did not hike his leg or anything, just checking out the smell- he hauled off & kicked him. I VERY politely (as I bit my tongue hard) told him there was no reason for that. "F*ckin dogs need to get away" was his reply. Okay first off all the dogs except WD were in the "kennel room". WD had been in our bedroom but got out when Cathy went in to use my bathroom. Second off you do not kick a 9 pound dog with your work boots!!!! So anyway I call Cat today thinking she's at her place, nope she's been at his since Friday sometime. He lives 4 miles or so from us, are they going to come over? Nope, he doesn't like the baby being around the dogs and he doesn't like coming to our house because there's nothing to do but we can come see the baby at her apartment in Elizabethtown when she's there. WTH??? Her apartment is on the second floor- no way that George can manage those steps! There's some other issues about the way she's suddenly letting him control everything that need to be addressed...so I see a big nasty fight coming up real soon.

LOL, I'm slow, she's breast feeding for now. Not sure if she'll keep doing it once the next semester starts or if she'll switch to formula that point.

Jeremy did my start up on MS but yeah, pretty much what Wild said. I watched & it is pretty easy to do, they basically walk ya through it.
Wild, she's doing good although her stitches are driving her nuts LOL.

She said it definitely wasn't the best tasting mix in the world but it got the job done LOL.
George is down at his dad's again, when I called him & gave him the news he was so happy he cried. So of course I cried. Then when I gave Cathy his message she cried so then I cried again...I swear for such a happy day I'm about cried out!
