Glad to hear that George got to get outside for a bit. He won't be down for long, he is just to honery to stay down.
Yes, you cut the boyfriend some slack. It says something about him if he is willing to help out like that around the house. How long George will be able to move about or do they really know yet?

Bossy is riding pretty good, going to stay at the trainer for another 2 weeks, he is going to ride her out in the brush and stuff like that. She is turned more like her mother than Ziggy, a little hard headed and argumentative. The weanling chestnut filly from this year is more like Fran and Ziggy, easy going and pretty friendly. Not at all like Bossy

I always thought that a boy was the one thing they could not make a mistake about?
My yearlings are about 15 hands and still growing. My one TB weanling this year is huge, she is going to be at least 16.2 or taller.
Rams is working on the photos for me, if nothing else I will e-mail them to her and see if she can get them on here.

You really have to kick, sit back and push her on the backside of the turn. She will eventually speed up.

Yes, come out for a visit anytime. I am so glad to hear that the workers comp is on the ball for him. Pretty bad that one of their own was injured the way he was. It would be cool if Jeremy could get a scholarship to help him out. I found out why these junior colleges out here are so full all the time, it is only about half the price of a regular college and those kids take everything they can before they transfer to make it cheaper. Tell him to check out Coffeyville Community College, they do a lot of football scholarships, and that would at least put him half way there and they have had several pro players that went there. He could at least get all his basic stuff out of the way before he transferred. We don't do football at the school I work at but we have basketball players from Georgetown because they need to help get their grades up.
I am glad to hear that the boyfriend has stuck around since hearing about the baby, hope he is going to pay child support and all that. Kids are so expensive nowdays. When is she due?
I don't know anything about myspace but I may have to check it out.

Spurs really don't make a horse run anyway, kiss at her and kick a little to encourage her to run. The best thing to do is to blow her out in a field to let her understand that it is okay to run just don't do it to much. LOL, They will learn to change leads on their own running the pole pattern, don't change them for her. Your times are improving which means your horse is starting to speed up, you should pick up more as time goes by. Rushing through the gate isn't always bad as long as you can control your horse.

40 Welcome to Runninghorses.net Forums! / Off the Wall / Welcome back some of our lost buddies
I am so glad to see TBB and Shannon back on the boards. Maybe now we can get Wild and Rams back on here some more. We had a few newbies this spring but with no action on the board they quit coming. Keep posting and get this going again.

Honey just remember those hormones when you go through the change. You are just hitting the tip of the ice berg and then you go about 10 years of them. I hear you about riding, I got moved to days and still haven't ridden, my body is trying to adjust to getting up at 6 in the morning but I am thinking this weekend would be good. I am going to get some pictures around the property and post on here to try to entice some of my buddies to come for a visit. GIANT HINT

Horsehappy told me they had damage from winds too. I cannot believe it. You guys live way to far from that thing to have all that damage. Rams and you better start checking in more often. Quit being depressed, you will be able to ride again. I am so happy to see Shannon and TBB back on the boards again.

Well it sounds bad enough the way it is. I cannot believe sometimes the luck. Will his insurance pay him while he is off work?

Oh yes, dream horse forums are still full of drama. Cannot believe some of it. I do go on there about once a week or more. This board has slowed way down because of all the babies. Did you guys get a lot of rain from the hurricane? We hardly got any out of that deal, more because of the cold front that came from the north. It has been in the upper 40's at night and cooled off to the upper 70's during the day which is still about 5-10 degrees cooler for us. Do you have any horses left at all?
