Well the ponies have to be at least no smaller than 48 inches. Out here the ponies are broke to death. They do everything that a horse does. They use them in the cattle feedlots and the whole 9 yards.

No pretty leaves here, well a few but most of the trees out here just turn a little yellow and dump the leaves on the ground. Way to many pecan and black walnut trees here. Been in the upper 40's at night and mid 70's during the day. Not due for a frost yet in this area for another 4 weeks or so. SE corner of the state was a good choice. Sure wish you guys could all come for a visit sometime. They just has a big trail ride at a ranch an hour west of me in the Flint Hills, cost 35 and that included food and Friday overnight camping (primitive). The locals say we are going to have a bad winter with lots of snow? Ok the annual snowfall is like 8 inches a year so what are they calling for?
Still having to mow the yard and Gary is giving the fields a final brush hogging before winter hits. Every one got all their hay in for the year?

Wild, you are not a dork, I want to run and feel the wind through my hair too. Might just try that today.
Ponies out here bring 800-1400 and they get it. When we went to the sale at Shawnee OK, they had 6 kid broke ponies ranging from 50-56 inches and each one of them brought 1400! They break away rope and heel at the local shows on 48 inch ponies. They use them out here. Sure you don't want to move this way?
I am looking for a horse for my grandkids and daughter in law to use and am going to call the guy that runs the state hospital horse program, he always sheds the ones that will go to easy when kicked. They might be a little sore but who cares about that? I did find a gray gelding, he is about 15.2 and an 8 yr old rides him in all kinds of classes but they just bought him and gave 4500 for him. Dad said he was worth every penny of it, could not believe that kid rides in barrels, poles and shows in halter. Big old heading horse.
BTW where the heck is Rams since having her baby she has only been on here like one time. Somebody find her and get her back on here. I did get an e-mail from her and she was having her gelding put down because of EPM

Let me know when you start riding again. No we didn't buy anything at the sale we were just curious, prices on horses for the most part here are still pretty good. Except for babies, yearlings or broodmares. I haven't heard from Shannon in a few days, I am thinking that Cat must have had her baby.

What do you mean he already has a pony? Ok, lets see new pictures when you get them. How are you doing after the birth. I bet your mother is about to have a fit.

Now listen here, nobody on this board is forgettable. We all need to stay in contact. I understand about being bummed out because you are always doing something. You need to slow down and ride once in a while. Working all the time just makes you old before your time and when you get older you will regret the stuff you didn't do when you had the chance. Trust me on that one.

You go to admit that a cracked ass is funny. I have never had any luck trying to navigate craigs list. I am going to need someone to walk me through that one. We have been gone since Thursday to the triangle sale at Shawnee OK for that last couple of days. Nice sale. Babies, yearlings, broodmares are down as usual but riders are fairly high there. Could not prove it by that sale that the market is down.

Looking at horses on the net is always fun. I do it daily. Don't need anymore at all. Do you have nothing at all to ride anymore? Let me know what happens at the neurologist appointment. I wish I could get over this dang head cold, it is really whipping my butt.
I hate it!
