Title: Re: babies so far this year Post by: valerie on May 10, 2006, 04:37:44 AM I have tried to build the mares around Shot, so far all her kids and now her grandkids all move the same and have pretty much the same disposition and that is what you have to shoot for. Even the Nik Dell gelding is a very easy moving horse to watch. I believe on trying to get the mares you want and going from there. Ziggys foals are super smart and are athletes and I think they should go a variety of ways. His sire had a palomino that was up there in halter points, had some pleasure horses, rope horses and barrel horses so that tells me they are true all around using horses. I will not be giving Shot, Rene or Fran away but I won't turn down a chance either. I can't always be sure that I am going to get them in the right hands anymore to try to make Ziggy and I am not in the position to make them myself so something has to give.
