Title: Bagging question... Post by: 1Wildcowgirl on April 30, 2007, 05:40:09 PM Since this is my second (and third) foal I have what may seem like a stupid question. Does the feel of the mares bag tell how close she is to foaling? Rosie's is hard and Shot's is more soft/squishy.

I asked her last night what kinda lotion she has been putting on it! :laughing9: She isn't due till the middle of the month! Rosie is due first and hers is hard! :o I know I will be fine. This is the fun part of foaling, freaking yourself out when they are going to go!

I fed the horses out side first, normally Shot had he head over the door whinning at me (because she is ssssoooo starved, you know). Well this AM she didn't have her head over. I thought OOOO gooodie, she had he baby! So I rush though feeding "the outsiders" and rush up to the barn (mind you it's still raining, and the grass is wet). My heart is pounding I get to the stall and then she comes to the door!!! GGGGGRRRRR she was resting in the back corner! That Evil, evil mare! ;D
