Okay, so how many of you have bought a horse on the internet?   How many have sold on the net?  What are you favorite sites to list on the net.  How many different horse forums do you belong to?   Huh


Are I just full of questions this morning?

I have purchased on the internet a good number of horses.  I have sold many many horses and shipped them as far as Texas without the buyers even looking at them in the flesh. 

I like Ag direct, barrel horses.com, barrel horse world, dream horse, equine.com and a number of TB sites for buying and selling. 

I belong to about 10 or more discussion boards and visit them at least on a weekly basis.  This board is one of the few that I try to come to at least 3 times a day.

I have never bought a horse off the internet.  I have however sold two horses this year on the internet.  I listed them both on Dreamhorse and had very good luck!  I think there site is very easy to get around.  Have not really used anyother sites because I had such good luck with Dreamhorse!

I'm registered with HorseCity, and here.  I visit here Monday thru Friday most of the day.  I just kinda lurk on HC, too much stuff goin on there.  Most of the time if I do post there no one talks to me, so I just read! Grin

Val- you below to 10 or more boards! Shocked  I didn't know they even had that many out there! Cheesy

I have never bought or sold any thing over the net yet but I did list Junior on Dreamhorse and got a bunch of replys. Not many takers but allot of interest. That is fine. At least people saw him. I may list the spring baby (if I have too Wink) if BabyDo took. I like to to look on Dreamhorse and some others. I do a lot of looking on Horsejockey.com too. That is an acution type sight. Hey Jettn, you might try to list some of your tack on there. There is allot of tack listed on that sight. I lurk on occasion on BHW and HC, but like Wild said, you may get some to talk to you and you may not. Here I am known and you guys like to talk to me. Grin (I think Undecided)

Oh I surf Horsejocky to (thanks to Val!).  And I surf Tack Trader, I have even bought some horse stuff and clothes off Tack Trader!  I love looking at other peoples web sites!  It burns me when they don't have them updated, or when you e-mail someone and they don't e-mail you back! :banghead:

i just bought Moon and Dial off Dreamhorse, i also bought Jet off AGDirect, i tend to use Dreamhorse to sell as well.I've had great luck , knock on wood,but i tend to be super picky about everything when i go to buy:)
I am going to post my tack there as well, as well as on Ebay, as soon as my dratted business license comes back from the state.

All my sales but one have been over the internet & only had problems with one sale. Buying is another story though. Heck anymore it doesn't seem to matter WHERE I buy 'em I get screwed one way or another LOL.
I like DH the best of all the classified sites. I also check out Equine.com, Agdirect, kyhorse.com, brokehorses.com, freehorseads.com, got more but am too lazy to look for my list at the moment.
Forums: I lurk on the DH forum, eBarrelracing.com, have a couple of threads on HC I post on, a couple of EZboard sites, and here...

yes dreamhorse.com has a forum.i end up looking ath sale ads but i occasionally visit there, but mostly i am at horse city's forum. I also visit Amateurbarrelracer.com and floridabarrelhorses.com.
