i think that in every marriage there is an adjustment period, Bryan's family has been  wonderful , made me feel right at home and accepted a crazy little barrel racer simply because she loved their son{and partially because i am his longest relationship.period}.. what they dont know about barrel racing, they ask..they want to know, i know if they werent in Texas.. they would watch, so when i get my permit filled and get my card {positive thinking!!} i will rodeo in Texas so that they can be there.. granted i want to see all 48 states with a WPRA card{goal}...lol...
venting is totally allowed, so feel free!!no need to worry about being  , i am already  for everyone!!!!!!!!!

See I so wish Matts family was like that!  I feel like I'm always on egg shells around them as far as what I say.  They are probably not as bad as what I'm making them out to be.  Plain and simple they don't wanna let go of there kids.  They have NO adult friends, they sit at home every weekend by themselfs and complain because there kids don't come over.  Matt and I are the worse about comming over, we have the horses and we do the truck pulling thing, and we have our own friends!  I refuse to let Matt and I become like that!  After 3 years you would think the adjustment period would be over!  They ask about the horses and have even came to watch me run once.

Make sure you let us know when you are comming to Ohio!

his parents sound like tough cookies to crumble....just go about your way, but  if grandkids get in the picture, i can pretty much assure you, they crumble realllllly fast
