There are a few of us out there who have young horses that need some work!  And some of us who have older horses who are alittle rusty!  I thought we could start a post and after we get done riding report back that we rode and how the ride went!  For me I know I will have lots of questions from you experiance barrel racers!  You can also list your goals for the year or even long term her too!

My goal is to get my 4 year old gelding going on barrels.  He was just broke this year and still has a long way to go before he sees a barrel!  My goal is to get him ready for a barrel race at Roberts Arena (wilmington, oh) that they had over the New Year (hopefully they will have it again this year it was a blast last year!).

So get out there and get them horses going! bounce

Speaking of riding, think I will go outside no and do just that after I fold the laundry

I have to do the same thing (riding that is ) I just hope Val can answer my number ? before she leaves to go riding so I can get this entry mailed off today. Might just ride ol dasher up to the post office to mail it.

Oh yea. It is about the only thing in this town. Grin The town itself is only about a mile (maybe two) long.

Cool!  Must be nice living in alittle town!  How far is the biggest town?

A lot further then Dasher is going to be able to do on foot. An get there the same day that is Grin
Evansville and Princeton are almost the exact same distence away from me and they are both about a half hours drive.

A half hour to Walmart!!!!!!!! Shocked  I would just die! Grin

Oh no. Wal-mart is even further. That iis just to get to these cities limits. The closest Wal-mart is in Princeton and that is about another 5 - 10 min further.
The closest one in Evansville is at least 45 min away.

For me right now, going to the Wal-Mart might as well be like going to Sakes Fifth Ave. Most of us around here go to the Dollar General store in Poseyville. That is only about 10 min away.

I know what you mean about that!  I'm on limited Wal Mart shopping myself!  Around here the Dollor General is in a not so nice part of town, kinda creeps me out going there!

They are expanding the Dollar store so it will now (or soon) have a frozen foods section. That will be a big hit around here. There are only a few other places that you can buy food. We have a Buy-Low that is about 20-25 min away so if you don't want to go to the mom an pop store in poseyville you head there.
