I always used to wear the most in-style cowboy hat of the times, but it seems now like the "crushable-faded-warn-comfortable" look is now in style.  What do y'all think of these hats?  For instance:

This is a typical hat you see in the arena and at rodeos:


Here's the new style that's in all the catalogs (definately more "bling"!):



So what do y'all think?

I think the new fashion is cool, but is mostly worn by shall I say, slutty cowgirls that wear barely anything but the hat. Sorry if I offended anyone, they are cool and fashionable, but it all depends on how you wear it, and what you wear it with!

[eek]  those look like the hats that we used to buy for the kids at the county fairs and stuff.  Forget it!  Sorry but I don't see any bling anywhere   [confused]

Your right Val, they do remind me of the hats we used to wear as kids. The only thing I can say about that hat in the picture is that is looks cheap. I am sure it cost plenty but it looks like a typical straw hat that got covered with easter egg dye. I will stick to the 'ol fashion one thanks. Typical colors are fine with me too.
