We know your kind of busy right now what with all the new arrivals you have to check in, but if you got just a minute, and you happen to be cruising this website, A whole bunch of us and myself were kind of wondering if we could ask you a favor.  We don’t want to take up too much of your time since you probably have a busy schedule. I am sure you have noticed that your guest list has increased in size considerably the last couple of weeks and you have been real busy with controlling the weather and that is kind of what we wanted to talk to you about. We mortals here on earth would really love to see your workload lighten up and would love to volunteer to help. We are not sure what we could do to help but maybe if your load were lightened up a bit you might be able to take a moment and turn off that leaky faucet up there and turn the thermostat up a few degrees? It must get real tiresome to have everything in creation to control and all of us to watch over. I know that we have been kind of slacking off in the self-control department, and we are real sorry about that, and we would like to know if there is something we could do to help make up for it? I think we got the message that you are not happy right now, what with the tsunami and earth quakes, floods, ice, snow, rain, mud slides, avalanches and general weather problems. We were wondering if your schedule were to lighten up a bit if that would help? We really do miss your day star (you know that big bright thing that use to come out during the day) and think some of us may understand now that we were taking a few things for granted. We were kind of wondering if we promised to stop taking your gifts and you for granted if that would help? I know that name in school thing and all this bickering about what name we should call you and whose name means more to you has probably worked your last nerve. I know it has worked on mine. We know you gave us free will and everything but some of us down here have not quite got a handle on that yet. We are trying but you know how hard it is to convince everybody in a crowd. I guess what we are asking is that you give us another chance and maybe we can get this living in peace thing going in the right direction. Most of us realize that you made a wonderful world for us and we are not trying to screw it up for you. There are always a few in every bunch that think it is all about them. We were kind of hoping that you might see that most of us still believe in you and understand that you know best. It is just that there are a lot of things (people, animals and places) that could use a break and were hoping that you might see that too? We will understand if you feel as though your message has not gotten across and we will try to help spread that around down here for you by keeping our faith going and trying to be a little bit nicer to each other. We really don’t mean to be cruel. Really we don’t. It just sometimes get to easy to forget that we all need to be a little more understanding and try a little harder to take care of each other. Things are changing really fast with the things we are learning (as you know) and some times it takes time to appreciate all the wondrous gifts you have given us and learn how to fully use what you have given us to the best of our abilities. We will try harder.
Well, We know you are busy and don’t want to take up any more of your time. We just thought maybe if you wouldn’t mind giving us another chance we would see if we could do a little better.
Thanks for listening.
Laura
