I'm having trouble logging into my Yahoo account so can't email you. George got hurt down in Shreveport today, got pinned between 2 trailers. He's in LSU Trauma. Fractured pelvis, no internal bleeding thank God. The hospital is supposed to call me in the morning with an update, they want to re-do his CT scan because he's in worse pain than they think he should be in. Will let you know how it goes, okay?

Okay, severely bruised kidneys & liver and fractured pelvis, some fluid buildup on his right side where he got slammed into the parked trailer. They said the fracture is even, he won't need surgery or pins put in. Right now it looks like he'll be home sometime on Friday and off work God knows how long recovering. I talked to a friend who's a trauma nurse she says he may never fully recover. It could have been a lot worse, at least he is still alive so thank God for that.

Well it sounds bad enough the way it is.  I cannot believe sometimes the luck.  Will his insurance pay him while he is off work?

Wild, I have to or else the way our luck runs I'd spend my days in a corner beating my head against the wall LOL. Good to "see" ya, thanks for the prayers & hope all is well with you!

Val, workers comp should pay on this one with it being an on-the-job injury. Hoping the fact that the driver who hit him is a co-worker will make the process a little easier.

In bad times it's hard for most people to have a good outlook.  And yes your right, you have to or else it just brings you down more, and were does that get you no where.  It's also a blessing that workmans comp should take care of it.  Something is better then nothing
