Worst of the storms went about 30 miles south of us.  We got about 2 1/2 inches of rain maybe a little more.  It has been so windy this weekend that just about everything has already dried up with a few exceptions.  I feel sorry for the people in OK, MO and Arkansas they were still recovering from the last flood and got hammered with like 7 inches of rain again.  How about you guys?

Last weekend was misrable!  But it's getting warmer (again) and starting to dry up (again).  Crossing fingers we don't get too much rain on Sat.  Matt and I are thinking of riding on Sunday..  I hope I NEVER have to go through a Tornado, that just scares me!

Actually tornado activity in your area has been picking up over the last several years.  They are so hit and miss.  You are going to ride?  When are you do?

I'm due Aug 12, which is Jaron's bday (8 years to the day) but they dont think I'll make it all the way thru July, so we'll see!

I called you yesterday Val!  Just to catch up and chit chat and see how you were doing.  I left a voicemail.  How's Kansas treatin you?  Pregnancy doin good!  Finally working with Piggy some more again and she's coming along nicely.  Hopefully she'll be ready for me to ride again this fall.  Trav is doing ok, tho he's kinda regressed a little with the move back to mom's and more turnout, but I think that's because he's working more muscle and things that he doesn't know how to work, so he seems a little "off".  Hopefully the summer will allow him to heal.  Mikey the pony is gettin some groceries on him so that's good too.  Everything else goin pretty good! Just thot I'd check in here.

My birthday is October 14.  Not going to tell you the year.  I am probably older than your parents.  The weather out here is great, starting into the rainy season.  The most rain out here is in May  Angry  Got an appointment to have the 3 stud colts gelded next week.  When was the last time anyone got one done for $50.00?  That is what they charge out here.  Did I tell you some stuff is really cheaper?  Like used cars, trucks, land, houses.  Groceries and clothes ain't no cheaper.  Gas went up last night to 3.49.  I hate it.  How is it in your part of the world?

I didn't figure you would tell me the year anyway!  Wink  50 bucks, thats crazy!  I think when I had Scout done it was 120.  I need to get Bullwinkle and Vinny done.  I felt the other day and I don't think eaither is quite ready yet.  They both are being good and not acting studly.  Bullwinkle bairly cares he is a horse let alone a stud! lol!  I think he is FINALY starting to grow alittle!  And he is shedding his 3 inch thick hair, can't wait to see him all shedded out.  Weather here isn't too bad.  Drys up, then rains alittle, drys up then rains.  Expecting some storms today.

All of mine are all shedded out.  They are really growing.  The TB yearling is almost as tall as the 2 yr old TB and the others of Sun Tzu's have passed the quarter babies in height.  We had over 4 inches of rain yesterday, nice today but more storms on Saturday and they are talking about rain every other day next week.  The rainy season out here is May and June.  Kind of different from back home.  They have already got the first cut of alfalfa up and looking at cutting grass hay the end of the month.

Mine are still hairy, but not winter hairy.  Bullwinkle is still shorter then Vinny.  Sounds like things are going great out there for you guys!  With this rain we are getting Hay should be ready before too long.
