Quick update on George after today's appointments...there is some nerve damage to the nerve sac in the lower spine area, the technical term escapes me right now. The good news is that it's only damage, the nerves were not actually severed. Anyway this damage is what's causing the bladder issues and all the pain. So he's on two new meds, one for the kidney/bladder and one that is supposed to help the nerves regenerate. We go back in November to see how things are progressing, if these meds don't work there's some others they can try & hopefully not have to mess with any surgeries.

Now off to Brandenburg to track down my kid who forgot to take money so he could eat before the game. Roll Eyes

You go to admit that a cracked ass is funny.  I have never had any luck trying to navigate craigs list.  I am going to need someone to walk me through that one.  We have been gone since Thursday to the triangle sale at Shawnee OK for that last couple of days.  Nice sale.  Babies, yearlings, broodmares are down as usual but riders are fairly high there.  Could not prove it by that sale that the market is down.

Herrrrreeee I ammmm. call me super slacker or perhaps burnnned the hell out would be more appropriate.  Loves to you all I miss you.  Things are okay guess what?Huh  Its raining..Had fun having horses this summer but they gotta go to a new pasture soon. dontknow  Quite one job started another thats got me driving between 60 and 115 miles a day to and from work.  Actually thinkin about movin closer to town or to the south where i can get something to keep the horses on.  I am getting tired.  Plus on my days off I am doing the invitations and wedding planning stuff.  Just finsihed some irish themed invitations today..

Shannon keep that son of yours  away from the girls for gods sake.  They are the end of all football players scholarships hopes!!!  Congrats on the daughter getting a handle on things.

Val you keep doing your horse stuff so I can live vicariously through u.

I am thinking there is a lil wild one by now....Hope your feeling good.

I will check back sooner I promise.  I am maintaining a crap load of internet sites and wedding directory crap anymore which is seriously making me nuts.

So far no worries on the girls, knock wood. He's too busy training and working around here to have time...plus he & his friends are too young to drive. I know it won't last though.

 bash  Now listen here, nobody on this board is forgettable.  We all need to stay in contact.  I understand about being bummed out because you are always doing something.  You need to slow down and ride once in a while.  Working all the time just makes you old before your time and when you get older you will regret the stuff you didn't do when you had the chance.  Trust me on that one.

Let me know when you start riding again.  No we didn't buy anything at the sale we were just curious, prices on horses for the most part here are still pretty good.  Except for babies, yearlings or broodmares.  I haven't heard from Shannon in a few days, I am thinking that Cat must have had her baby.

Nope no baby yet. Just been dealing with crap around here. Does it EVER end?Huh  bash 
Broke a tooth & need it pulled BAD the pain is almost unbearable, the cheapest dentist quoted me $200 for a normal extraction, $350 if they have to cut it out. I was like "Holy crap!" so got a call in to U of L's dental school to see if they'll take me as an emergency patient.
 Then yesterday Jeremy got something in his eye at school & started rubbing it. School called me so I ran him over to our family doc  who bless him only charges us $35 for an office visit. Final diagnosis is that he scratched his eyeball so he's on a combination antibiotic/steroid eyedrop & the boy now understands if you get something in your eye you flush it out NOT rub it.
I had to laugh though, when we walked in the doctor's office and I told them what happened one of the nurses looked at me & the office manager and suggested that they just go ahead and set up a standing weekly appointment for our family...I told her she *might* have a point there LOL.
Jeremy was kind of bummed though because the coach sidelined him for last night's game & it was a good one: 24-18 win after double overtime. I told him there's still 4 games left in the season so he still has playing time.
Went out & cleaned up the horses this morning, Snowman was just filthy- the joys of owning a white horse! I need to hit the feed store later, I ran out of his senior feed this morning and he hates eating beet pulp plain.
Off to find some lunch, talk to you all later, hope everyone has a great day!
