Well I finally got my baby weaned off of Rose.  Working on getting her back in shape to hit a few races this winter.  I'm so excited/nervous to start running again.  I ran her the first of October when she had only been off her baby for about 3 weeks, and ridden 5 times.  I couldn't help it!  She ran like she always does, it's just like riding a bike! lol!  I was shaking when we got out!  We ran a low 18 in a pretty good size pen.  It was a little fun show type deal that our Hosemans Council put on.  We ended up getting first!  I didn't  care, it just felt good having a horse i know i can trust under me!  So my goal for next year is to run this little circiut aroung home.  Crossing my fingers i can keep her sound.

I have also started riding Matts horse Sassy.  Getting her ready to be patterned.  She is a fast learner and sometimes gets frustrated when she doesn't remember what I'm asking of her.  Once it clicks she's good to go.  I will haul her with me when I go this winter.  Maybe hit some Exhibition with her!

No real point to this post, just me rambling! LOL!

Turnin thanks for the encouragement!  With the psycho horses I have had the last few years it's feeling REALLY great to be riding my mare again!  She may not be the fastest but she is fun to ride!  I know what to expect from her and thats so nice!  I wish you were riding more or at least able to see them!  Buddy is going to bite you with his ear when he sees you! LMAO!

I know!  Im lovin the 3 and 4 D's!  It's alittle confusing for NON barrel racers to grasp when you try to explain it, but other than that I think it's great!
