I did okay, went way to slow but made 2 runs without knocking over anything and didn't fall off again.  She is offically retired.  Her hock bothers her so much now that she can't hardly make a decent right turn.  Hang on Ziggy, cause he is next

clap2 Hey not falling off is huge!  When I was showing 2 YO all the time people would always ask me how they were doing.  My response was "well I haven't fell off yet" and kinda laugh!  I can't wait for Ziggy stories!  Have you rode him yet?

Gary rode Ziggy all last week, first time in 2 years.  He is doing well.  I was going to ride him but this heat is so bad.  He is more of a young persons horse, going to kill my back unless I lose about another 50 pounds or at least 30!  Undecided

He is out with Sissy and another mare being socialized.  He doesn't bother Sissy but runs that dog do out of the other mare.  She squeals and kicks at him and that is all it takes.  Kind of feel sorry for her in all this heat but that is the way it goes sometimes.  My farrier wants him for a roping horse, maybe I should sell him to him and get it over with.

If you don't think he is going to work out for you then maybe it is best to sell him.   You have done so well riding Sissy you need to keep going!  Is he too rough, is that why you say it will kill your back?

Ziggy is going to make a super horse, has a lot of try and you can't wear him out.  He is going to be hard on my back because he has a cow style of turn, drops that front end but that is typical with a lot of the Sun Frost horses.  I will keep him because he can be used for a lot of events.  Besides no one will want to pay what I would have to ask for him.  BTW, he is still breeding mares, could be useful with maiden mares huh?  Embarrassed
