The doctor cleared me to start riding again! No work due to the amount of sitting but I'm allowed to ride horses, go figure LOL!

Cathy graduated high school woohooo!!! Proud mama pix coming whenever I get my butt up to WalMart & drop the film off.

Jeremy started football camp; he's switching between playing running back & linebacker until they decide which position they want him at.

George called me at the hour of Buttcrack AM today to tell me he was running with Brooks & Dunn and Alan Jackson on I-65.

Oh yeah, and I bought me a horse. Actually the one I went to look at for Ramsey and her kiddo, he just kind of stuck with me for some reason. That TW blood in him makes him such a smooth ride, even bareback. Wink (don't tell George) Snowman's long-legged enough to keep up with him but short little Summer's got to trot LOL.

Life ain't about how fast you run, or how high you climb, but how well you bounce.

I'm a little disappointed in George...he didn't bring his new runnin' buddies home for dinner LOL.

Wild, will definitely be getting lots of pix.  Grin  I think the roll with the grad pix has some of him on there.  Now I'm saddle shopping- Cathy's is too small for my rear & George's is just too dang heavy for me to lift by myself. He's taking his vacation next week & I think we're going to go to Louisville & check the tack store there.

Hey Val, any good tack stores up your way? I checked our local one but didn't find anything I liked except in the brand new ones...and George won't fork over the big bucks for a shiny new Tucker saddle for me.  nailgun
I thought about running up to Illinois. The kids' dad's cousin's in-laws have a nice big shop up there past Wayne City & have a great selection. But that would mean dragging both of them along & visiting half the county while we were there.  Tongue

Actually you might try the circle Y soft seat to trail ride in.  I know a few people that trail ride and they all use the aussie saddles on their walkers.  Said you don't need the saddle horn anyway with them.  Don't buy a cheap saddle, your butt and the horse will be sorry.  Check Tacktrader.com out and search you might find just what you are looking for in your price range.

Well congrats across the board.  A highschool gradeeeate thats exciting.  A new horse thats exciting.  Brooks and Dunn and Alan Jackson well I ain't even gonna go there to say they were exciting would not be quite the appropriate word.  Oh and if I was Robert I would say football camp was exciting too.  Tell Jeremy he could play on a little schools team like robert and have to play running back, full back, wide reciever, defensive end, lineman, and kick return depending on the play.  Oh and this year his coach wants to add some quarterback.....

DREA Sully Red Elk aka Buddy
Midnight Hail Bop aka Bop
Johnny Cash aka Cash
Buford and Dempsey aka Those damn basset hounds
Gregg Brady and Spooky the critter getters
The ladies aka the chickens and Rhet Butler the rooster
