Here, I just click the "Show unread posts since last visit." link or the "Show new replies to your posts." link up there next to my profile pic.

Hey Shan,
I *think* I saw a free weinerdog sign on the way home tonight. If it's a free-to-good-home deal, did you want me to check it out?

Help in what way? You mean help by hauling? I don't have a trailer (well, one that works)
but if you can find me one I'd be happy to help out!!! Or if you just want someone to ride along. Would prolly need to be on a weekend.

Dang turnin, he better be careful! Does he at least ride with a cell phone? Or walkie talkie? Anything would be good. Flare gun? lol.
I myself have been busy as usual. The wedding wrapped up nicely, but then I started working at that new job of mine. That didn't last long. It literally sucked the essence right out of me. I didn't even feel like turning on the computer when I got home, even if I had time. I'd leave at 7am and wouldn't be back until after 7pm, and then all last week I had swimming lessons (well, I mean I was taking the kid to them LOL). I haven't really done much riding, except the weekend after the wedding, me and my Hubby (feels so good saying that) and 1wild and her hubby and some other friends of ours went camping. We were out trail riding and got caught in a torrential dounpour, it was awesome! Hubby did GREAT! And the horse he was riding did even better! We'd buy him if we had the money. So he tells me the other nite "I think you got me hooked" LOL! So now that he has a concrete floor in his garage he wants me to bring home the trailer and our Motorhome so we can work on fixing that up, and we'll be out riding more. I can't wait to get back into barrels more!! Ok enough for now. I have more work to do.

45 Welcome to Runninghorses.net Forums! / Off the Wall / Sheplers SOLD.
After weeks of speculation, an announcement was made on Tuesday night that Western retailer Sheplers had been purchased by Gryphon Investors of San Francisco. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Sheplers was founded in 1899 in Wichita and today operates 19 stores, in addition to a catalog and Web site. The company has about 650 workers.
A Gryphon spokesman said no immediate changes were planned; however, long-time CEO Mike Anop will retire and will be replaced by Mark Syrstad, formerly president and CEO of Crafts Retail Holdings Corp.
Syrstad has spent nine years in Western retailing and worked with Gingiss Formal Wear, a Gryphon company. The group also owns G.I. Joe's Inc., a full-line sporting goods retailer in the Pacific Northwest. For more details, http://www.kansas.com/101/v-print/story/136747.html.
