Title: Classifieds -- When??
Post by: jd1947 on September 09, 2006, 02:55:12 AM
 :) Hi Ramsey,

Since I have my own web site, I know all the time & work  involved in fine tuning things...especially for a site like running horses...so I sympathsize with you...but.... I am wondering  :dontknow: when you will have the Classified Ads up & running  :clap2:

I have a great filly for sale, race bred with wonderful bloodlines, and I need to have her listed here at running horses. There are some good Barrel sites online to list horses for sale, but this site covers the race horses also. She'll make someone a heck of a Barrel Horse, but I would love to see her get to the track!! Unless I am :crazy1: missing something, I sure can't find any web sites with classifieds for the Running Quarter Horse.

So, if you could reply and let me (all of us) know when the classifieds will be available, I would greatly :sunny: appreciate it.

Thanks!!

Joanie,  thanks for the question!  I'm still working on trying to get this done, but the developer I was working with ran into some snags and then I ran into some financial problems with having to put my mare down, so I haven't been able to push forward on this lately.  Hopefully I can move forward again soon!  In the meantime feel free to post a message on the boards about her! :)  And stick around and chat with us for a while!

Hi Ramsey,

Thanks for your reply, I'm sure you'll get the classifeds sorted out and running as soon as you can...meantime, thanks for allowing me to post this filly in the forum...I MAY have her sold, so I'll hold off on posting until I know for sure.

But, I would like to also tell you how very sorry :'( I am about your mare. I know how it feels to loose them...and when you have to put one down, for any reason, it makes the hurt even worse. I lost a beleoved mare a few years ago while she was 10 months in foal...she had 'soemthing' going on inside her ankles (we decided it may have been a bone cancer), and when she got up from laying down one night, thank goodness I was there, one of her ankles snapped...I was a wreck for weeks after that. And last year my dearest old mare, at age 34, decided it was 'her time'...
regardless of how it happens, putting them down, or having them die a natural death, it's just almost impossible to deal with the sorrow.

Please excpet my deepest sympathy.
