Title: Riding Pix!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Post by: Shannon on July 08, 2007, 09:14:46 AM
I tried out my friend Stephanie's WP horse a couple weeks ago & it was great- no pain at all. So today I tried out Cooper...I wasn't quite ready to take him by myself- he's a bit buddy sour- so George & Jeremy took turns leading me around.
Of course George had to try him out first to see how safe he was LOL:

Then Jeremy:

Finally MY turn!:

A couple of things I noticed (apart from George setting the pad back too far): Cooper comes alive when you ride him. He "flags" his tail, ears go up, walks out boldly, he's just gorgeous! And he is super short-backed. George's roping saddle is a little awkward on him, I think the Aussie I've got my eye on will be MUCH better.
